WIW… (2 days late edition)

Last week: 140.8 This week: 141.4

Weight lost over last 8 weeks: 8.8 lbs

Sooooooooo, I’m very happy with my .6 lb gain since I was on vacation for the week.  I found it to be pretty easy to eat the appropriate foods aside from the fact that it’s just so damn socially awkward and un-fun!  I had to say “no thank you” alot to things like chips & guacamole (there was no protein to go with it) and wine before dinner (again, need protein to counteract my carbs) and dessert (ovbi didn’t need the extra carbs & calories at 8:00 at night).  Towards the end of the week I did losen up a bit and have a handful of chips with dinner and a couple glasses of wine. :)

Luckily I was just with family and I know they understand and are proud of me, but why does it feel so rigid to watch what I eat?  I mean the pay off is soooo great… I didn’t really GAIN weight and didn’t get bloated or have stomach issues so that to me is a huge success. 

Anyway, I’m happy to be back home and controlling all my food again.  Planning to lose 2 lbs per week for the next 3 weeks!

PS. I weighed this morning and it was 140.4!!
