C25K - W1D1 is in the books.
It felt great to push myself. That’s something easily forgotten when you’re sedentary.
The body sure can do amazing things and pushing yourself does wonders for your mood!

Mmmmm... veggies!
Finally!!! It’s been weeks since vegetables have sounded appealing to me. I mean, I’ve been eating them… reluctantly… and not as many as I should. But for some reason, right now, I am soooo looking forward to some zucchini & asparagus tonight!
I know, I’m weird.
Tomorrow's my birthday...
and I was hoping to be at 135, but I think l have actually gained a pound or two this past week from again, too much food and not enough movement. Boo!
But, it’s not that big a deal because I have great friends surrounding me and I can’t wait to celebrate with them tomorrow night! Oh, and I’m getting my hair did… shorter & lighter, can’t wait!

YAY! Only up 1 lb from last week. After all those chips and such little exercise I’ll take it, but this week it’s on since next Weigh In Wednesday is my bday! :)

YAY! Down 1.8 this week. Most significant weekly weightloss in a while. Could be related to the stomach bug I had on the 4th of July, but I’ll give myself credit because I did eat to plan everyday. :)
In other news… my BMI 16 weeks ago was 28.4 and it is currently 25.8. I don’t put too much...

I finally broke through my 5 week shuffle between 139 - 140! It’s all downhill from here (numbers on the scale that is)!

Whoo, hoo! This “maintaining” over the last 4 weeks has really boosted my confidence. Like, wow I can actually keep off the weight that I’ve lost and still have fun and live my life!
With that said… starting today I’m kicking it up a notch to lose these last 7 - 8 pounds.

This is great news to be back in the 130’s! Especially since I’ve been playing around with adding more fun into my diet (chocolate frozen yogurt, dark chocolate & red wine).
OMG, the chocolate frozen yogurt (w/ no toppings) was ah-mazing! And it only had 70 calories! The 13 carbs and 10 sugars might do some damage but I’m not feeling any worse so I’m happy with my decision!

I've lost my drive...
… to lose weight. I’m having digestive issues and it’s causing me to feel bloated and fat. I’ve gone 2 1/2 months eating to plan almost every single day and I’m now in this space where I just don’t care. Had potato chips last night. A lot of them. Ate well today, but am bloated again so I’ve decided to go get frozen yogurt.

Boo on the 1 pound gain! Had company in town for the holiday weekend. I ate very well, but too much of it and didn’t drink nearly enough water.
No social activities this weekend! Ha! Isn’t it awful that going out and being a “normal” person doesn’t quite jive with losing weight. ...

Operation "Get this body moving" starts today!!
I’ve been fortunate enough to lose 9 pounds so far without exercising. Yes, I said no exercise! While it’s been great to shed the pounds solely from carb counting and food combining, I’m feeling very soft and lazy. Not to mention the fact that my heart isn’t getting any healthier from my sedentary lifestyle and my LDL cholesterol is still high.

Sooooooooo, I’m very happy with my .6 lb gain since I was on vacation for the week. I found it to be pretty easy to eat the appropriate foods aside from the fact that it’s just so damn socially awkward and un-fun! I had to say “no thank you” alot to things...

I’m headed to Cabo for a week!!!!
Thank goodness for the weight I’ve lost… it was much more fun shopping for cute dresses and I’m not horrified to be in a bathing suit.
Oh and my most recent goal was to have the photoshoot in my dress on May 2nd, but I totally missed it due to lack of organization. I can almost guarantee I fit into my dress so I’ll be scheduling...

Something’s wrong with my blender and it didn’t properly blend the spinach in my green monster! Gross. Do not let this happen to you. Drinking chunky bits of spinach is not a great way to start out the day.
Why yes, I did finish it… while holding my nose, cause obvi that makes it easier to get down! 2 cups spinach by 9am, check!

My clothes fit great! I feel sooooo much more confident and I’m not wearing those bulky sweaters anymore to hide my belly fat. Belly fat begone!!! I mean, obvi there’s still some there, but just little rolls as opposed to one big roll.

This feels like a miracle… 5 weeks straight of moving in the right direction on the scale!!! I really thought I was going to lose 2 pounds this week, but I’ll take my .4 over a gain anyday. :)

I can cross my legs more easily!
No doubt due to the 1 inch loss in each thigh.
The foot of the leg on top points down more towards the floor rather than out to the side. I mean it’s still out to the side… I can’t wrap it behind my calf or anything, but it’s just more comfortable/easy to cross. Am I making any sense?
